What gets us up in the morning.
Swallows are growing scarce, hedgerows are disappearing, ponds are drying up. The decline of the living world is not an abstraction: it is happening close to home, and non-profits are fighting for it in the field every day. Our role is to give them resources.
We are IT people, not naturalists. So we do what we know how to do: build solid services, generate steady revenue and put it in the hands of those who know how to plant a hedgerow, dig a pond or protect a colony of bats.
